We spent a few days at the Hacienda RV Resort in Las Cruces, New Mexico from November 13 to the 16th where we knew some friends were staying. It gave us time to catch up with Joe and Elsie, do laundry and some grocery shopping.
Joe and Elsie are from BC, and we first met them in August of 2004 in Leavenworth, Washington at the KOA. We've all stayed in touch since and meet up along our travels here and there. Really nice folks. These pictures were taken at La Posta restaurant. Good times, good food and lots of laughs. With camera in hand, Joe went about "capturing the moment."
Bruce, Joe, Geri and Elsie It was 46 degrees when we pulled out of Las Cruces Friday morning, and it rained on us between there and Casa Grande, Arizona. We'll miss Joe and Elsie, but we were sure looking forward to warmer weather that was in front of us. They'll probably be in Arizona at some point before we all go home for the summer, and we'll have another opportunity to spend time with them. We arrived safely a few hours after leaving Las Cruces and checked into Palm Creek RV Park in Casa Grande where we would stay until the first part of April.
