This is us, Bruce & Geri (aka the
Oldtymrs), and
this is how we travel the country!
C'mon along!

- Colorado 2011
- Our trip started out in the Denver area visiting Jerry and Dottie, a
wonderful couple we know from Arizona, and a day in
Golden touring the Coors
factory and seeing other sites. We spent a
few days with our
niece, Mandy, and her hubby, Jake, who are in the process of adopting a
child! How exciting! Then we walked around
Mesa Verde national park
for two days. That is a phenomenal place! Seeing
Ann doing better was a
great way to end the trip.
- Yellowstone 2011
- Fun, albeit cold, trip! We saw lots of wildlife and a few Loons
along the way.
- Winter
2010-2011
- Oregon Coast -
Fall 2010
- We took a brief getaway to the beautiful Oregon coast where we
visited Seaside, the Tillamook cheese factory, went dune buggying on the
dunes at Florence, saw some Gray whales, and rode a jet boat up the
Rogue river at Gold Beach!
- Wine tasting and the
Spruce Goose in Oregon - June 2010
- Geri's cousin, Howard, and his wife, Lynn, purchased their new
big fifth-wheel trailer and invited us to go along on their maiden
voyage. We gladly accepted and had a ball!
- Arizona Bound for the
'09/'10 Season!
- Our migration this year included stops along the way at Carson
City to see JT and Malinda, Fall colors in the Hope valley between
Carson City and Lake Tahoe, the Laughlin area and Oatman to play
with the wild burros, and the spectacular Emerald Canyon Golf Course
near Parker, Arizona. We also visited Goldfield Ghost Town Sea
World in San Diego and were totally oblivious to a magnitude 7.2
earthquake!
- Leaf Peepin' and Critter Creepin' 2009
- On October 12 we took off to see where and what we could find in the
way of fall colors in our state. Beautiful reds, oranges, yellows
and a range of greens!
- Montana 2009
- Our travels took us to the north end of the Flathead lake in
Montana. An absolutely gorgeous place! From there we
went to the Banff area to see our friends from the Netherlands, Jos
and Jose', who were vacationing there. Total travel time about
12 days.
